I was extremely interested in the idea to learn how to think with a growth mindset. So, I spent some time learning everything I could about a growth mindset. When growing up, it was really fascinating to learn about the approach of training your mind to think differently and how that affects the outcome and motivation you may have in every aspect of life that I found that in Big Life Journal.
At the Big Life Journal develops strong Social and Emotional Learning and growth mindset skills through inspiring stories, colorful illustrations, and engaging guided activities.

What is the Big Life Journal?
Intended for children ages from 7 up, the Big Life Journal is a growth mindset journal for kids. It is divided into different chapters about important life lessons on topics of persistence, making a difference, and more in 26 weeks and is designed to be used once per week.

Big Life Journal helps your kids to be confident and resilient with high self-esteem and ambition to achieve great things in life. You want them to have a positive outlook on life and try new things. And at the same time, you don’t want them to be afraid of making a mistake or think they “can’t do” before they even try.
At the Big Life Journal develops strong Social and Emotional Learning and growth mindset skills through inspiring stories, colorful illustrations, and engaging guided activities. Rather than believing that their intelligence and skills are fixed, children with a growth mindset believe that they can use effort and strategies to continually grow and improve.

What We Love About the Big Life Journal

I love the short little stories at the beginning of each chapter to engage the child with the idea of essential topics like Persistence, Gratitude, Making a difference, Believing in yourself, and more, they have control over themselves, their behavior, and the world around them. When children have a growth mindset, they believe that they can always improve and grow–what a wonderful message to teach our children at an early age!
The Big Life Journal is a journal unlike any other. I love how unique and creative this journal is. And I value that it provides the framework for self-reflection and growth. I highly recommend it. Using this journal once per week keeps it special and fun without any of the pressure of a daily journal.
I’m excited to have discovered Big Life Journal and to share this tradition with my children. This simple routine has been a wonderful addition to our summer!
