Clearly Filtered was founded in 2011. They started the quest for making water without harmful chemicals, toxic heavy metals or any other form of contamination. There are so many different brands of water filter pitchers out there, many of them are private label products. By that I mean that the parts are manufactured by one company and then sold under another company’s brand name. That explains why so many of the pitchers look suspiciously similar. In fact, Clearly Filtered used to have its filters made by another company called Seychelle.

But that all changed in 2018. Instead of continuing to use someone else’s filters, Clearly Filtered developed their own filtration technology, which they dubbed “Affinity”. It’s a proprietary blend of filter media that effectively removes over 220 unhealthy contaminants from water. The new filter element might look similar to the old one on the outside, but it’s whole lot better.

This is the best water pitcher especially for theprice. What I love about this water pitcher is I can now enjoy the benefits oftap water without the contaminants and water tastes better than the filteredwater that comes from my fridge. Unlike most standard water filters it reallyfilters the water and does not just reduce the smell and taste of chlorine.Also what water pitcher in the price range can claim to reduce fluoride up to90%? If you want fresh tap water without losing all the natural minerals in tapwater that are good for your teeth and body buy this water pitcher. A lot ofwater pitchers and even high end water filters are removing everything in waternow, so you have to add the minerals back, which is not good because a lot ofpeople tend to be mineral deficient.

One of the best water filter I have ever used. Water tastegreat, water is clear, and happy that it removes most fluoride in the water.

The only thing is that the pitcher itself is cheap and parts fall apart. & the little lid for the lip where the water is dispense, it does not move on its on for the water to pour out. You have to manually move it every time, otherwise dust particles could fall inside.
