Peach Drop is the annual New Year's festival that brings Atlanta to life with a massive party to ring in the new year. Located at Underground Atlanta, the celebration has turned into the largest of its kind in the Southeast. What to Expect at the Peach Drop
Peach Drop offers loads of activities for visitors to enjoy starting as early as 8:30 PM on New Year's Eve. There are different music stages with performances from a variety of artists, as well as musical acts, magicians, comedians, DJs and dancers.
Throughout the evening, visitors can explore the array of carnival games and rides including Ferriswheels, teacups, a giant slide, and even a Rock Climbing Wall. Of course, with all that playing and partying, snacks and drinks are aplenty.
Experience the Exciting Countdown to the New Year
The night reaches its crescendo during the much-anticipated midnight countdown. During this time, the 800-pound illuminated peach is dropped from over a hundred feet, in place of the traditional “ball drop” made popular in Times Square.
To accompany the final countdown of the night, the Peach Drop is part of a synchronized pyrotechnic display that will leave you in awe and energized to step into 2020 on a high note!
