Gigi Hadid definitely got everyone talking when she hit the Met Gala red carpet with a totally new look. The model ditched her usual long locks and debuted a major chop - going for a short blonde bob that was a total 180 from her normal style.
I gotta admit, when I first saw pics of Gigi on the stairs, I did a double take. She always rocks her hair super long, so seeing it end just below her jaw was so unexpected. But hair guru Lauren Polko knew exactly what she was doing, giving Gigi big curls to channel Old Hollywood glam a la Marilyn Monroe.
Gigi totally served in her white gown too. I love how she went all out with the makeup and accessories to match the Old school vibes. Girl looked straight out of a black and white movie. Too bad her dress needed like five people to carry it because you know that train was long!
It was cool to find out Gigi actually got the chop back in March. But wow, what a debut to show it off all dolled up at the Met Gala. That's a major event to try a new look, but Gigi totally pulled it off with her usual confidence.
And can we just talk about how cute she and her man Bradley Cooper are? They've been dating for a minute and seem really happy. It's awesome Gigi has his support as she takes fashion risks.
