5 Natural Hair Curling Tips You Can Do At Home For Beautiful Waves

Hair that is frequently bleached and dyed is more vulnerable to the heat from a daily dryer, so learn some simple hair tips below.

Use rollers

This method can be done at home, helping to limit hair damage due to heat. All you need is a set of rollers and hairspray.

Just roll each piece of damp hair into the roller. Make sure the roller is wound in an inward direction. Wait a few hours until your hair is completely dry. Then, remove all the curls and use your fingers to separate them. Use hairspray to keep your curls longer.

Use a headband

Just wear a headband around your head and wrap small strands of hair around it. Start with the left half of your hair, followed by the right half of your hair. If your hair gets dry while wrapping, spray more water to moisten your hair. If you want to create small curls, wrap your hair tightly around the headband. On the contrary, if you want to have big curls, wrap your hands loosely. Wait for your hair to dry or leave it overnight, then gently remove your hair from the headband.

Twisted bun

Curling by twisting hair is suitable for all hair types. Just divide damp hair into 2 equal parts and twist them. Then roll these two parts into a bun and secure with an elastic. When your hair is completely dry, remove the two buns and use your hands to comb them to separate them. You can spray more conditioner to make your hair look softer and smoother.

Curl your hair with a towel

When your hair is not completely dry, divide it into two parts and then wrap a towel around the curls. When you reach the ends of your hair, use an elastic to secure it. Twist the hair into a spiral and secure it with an elastic. Repeat this with the other side. You can use a dryer in the cool setting to dry your hair or you can leave it on overnight. Once your hair is completely dry, remove the towel and comb your hair with your fingers.

Herringbone braid

Apply a little moisturizing gel to your hair while your hair is still wet. Then, you proceed to braid your hair from stem to tip. Note, that you should braid your hair on both sides of your head and tighten it when braiding to secure the braids. This creates clear curls as well as keeping the curl longer.
